PIERCING GUIDE
- Please remember that if you are under the age of sixteen we are unable to pierce you unless you are accompanied by your parent. Photographic ID will be requested if you appear to be under 18.
- Have something light to eat. An empty stomach combined with nerves can sometimes lead to dizziness and maybe even fainting. However don't feel embarrassed if you do feel light headed our piercers are experienced and know how to handle these situations.
- Avoid alcohol, however yummy, it thins the blood and can cause you to bleed unnecessarily.
- Where do you want to be pierced? Think about how visible you want your piercing to be and how practical it will be in your everyday life. Check out our gallery for some inspiration.
- It is a misconception that anyone can pierce. There are risks involved if the person is not fully trained or hasn't access to the right equipment. It is not possible to learn to pierce correctly by merely completing a short course. All our piercers have completed a full in-house apprenticeship. We do not train body piercers for other studios and our staff only pierce on site. No one associated with Hedonism pierces outside our premises.
